Since clear table protectors are water-resistant, they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Each clear table protector from ProtectMats is custom-cut to size, ensuring a perfect fit for your specific table shape or dimensions. Please note: our transparent table protector is less suitable for glass, lacquered, glossy, or stone tables. Air bubbles may become visible between the protector and the surface, which can affect the appearance. For such surfaces, we recommend our stylish frosted table protector. Our PVC table covers are primarily designed for indoor use, but they can certainly be used outdoors as well. Heat Everyday contact heat – like a cup of coffee or a warm plate – is generally no problem. For pans or dishes straight from the stove or oven, we recommend using a trivet to protect your cover. Sunlight Normal daylight through windows won’t affect the material. However, prolonged exposure to direct outdoor sunlight may cause slight discoloration or make the PVC a bit firmer over time. That’s why we recommend airing out the cover occasionally and bringing it inside during extreme weather conditions.

Shapes

Rectangle/square: A rectangular (or square) mat is machine-cut at no extra cost.

Circle: If you choose a round mat, enter the diameter of the mat you want to receive. An additional charge of $5 applies.
Ellipse: With an ellipse, the corners of the mat are rounded so strongly that none of its sides are straight.
Please note: Not sure if your table has an elliptical shape? Contact us. An additional charge of $5 applies for this shape.
Oval: An oval is a rectangle in which the two opposite sides are replaced by half circles. The image alongside is a good example. An additional charge of $5 applies for this shape.
