Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
This Limited Warranty Policy (“Warranty”) applies to all products (“Products”) sold by Verdego US Inc., doing business as ProtectMats (“ProtectMats,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or using our Products, you (“Customer,” “you,” “your”) agree to the terms set forth herein.
1. LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE
ProtectMats warrants that Products, at the time of delivery, will:
-
substantially conform to the specifications provided by the Customer (within reasonable manufacturing tolerances); and
-
be free from material manufacturing defects.
This Warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
2. WARRANTY PERIOD
Claims under this Warranty must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.
3. CUSTOMER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
If a Product is determined by ProtectMats to be defective or incorrect, ProtectMats will, at its sole discretion:
-
repair the Product;
-
replace the Product; or
-
refund the purchase price of the Product.
This is the Customer’s exclusive remedy.
4. EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY
This Warranty does not cover and ProtectMats is not liable for:
-
Normal wear and tear. Scratches, scuffs, discoloration, or damage resulting from regular use.

Improper use. Any misuse, abuse, or use outside of intended purposes (see Section 5, Product Safety & Intended Use).

Chemical damage. Exposure to solvents, ammonia, acetone, acids, bases, or other damaging substances.
-
Heat or fire. Exposure to open flame, extreme heat, or high-temperature equipment.
-
Alterations. Cutting, trimming, reshaping, or modifying Products after delivery.
-
Incorrect measurements. Products that do not fit due to inaccurate dimensions provided by the Customer.

Third-party handling. Damage caused by carriers, installers, resellers, or any third party other than ProtectMats.
-
Personal injury or property damage. Any injury, health issue, or damage arising from use or misuse of Products.
5. PRODUCT SAFETY & INTENDED USE (DISCLAIMER)
All Products are designed exclusively as protective mats, floor mats and table covers. They are not suitable for any other purpose. Specifically:

Not edible or drinkable. Products must never be ingested or swallowed.

Not toys. Products are not designed as toys. If used around children (e.g., splat mats, painting mats), they must always be used under direct adult supervision.

Not medical or safety equipment. Products must not be used in healthcare, diagnostic, therapeutic, or safety-critical environments.
-
Not flame- or heat-proof. Products must not be exposed to open flames, stoves, ovens, or extreme heat.
-
Limited chemical resistance. While resistant to many household and industrial substances, resistance depends on concentration, exposure time, and environmental conditions. Customer is responsible for verifying compatibility with intended chemicals.

Not slip-proof. Floor mats, protective mats and table covers may slide on certain surfaces. Customer is responsible for ensuring safe installation and use.

Not protective gear. Protective mats, table covers and floor mats do not prevent injury. Use of sharp tools is at Customer’s own risk.

No modifications. Altering, cutting, or reshaping Products voids this Warranty.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
-
ProtectMats disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and durability.

ProtectMats shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of profits, or business interruption.

In all cases, ProtectMats’ maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product giving rise to the claim.
7. HOW TO SUBMIT A CLAIM
To submit a claim, Customer must contact ProtectMats Customer Service at info@protect-mats.com within 48 hours of delivery. Claims must include:

Order number;
-
Description of issue; and
-
Photographic evidence of defect or damage.
Unauthorized returns will not be processed.
8. GOVERNING LAW
This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under or related to this Warranty shall be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration in the State of Delaware, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. You waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions, consolidated actions, or representative proceedings.
