At ProtectMats, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We strive to keep our environmental footprint as small as possible by reintroducing used materials back into our production cycle. Through our carefully designed recycling process, old protective mats can be repurposed to create new mats, while leftover materials are processed into a variety of other products.
PVC recycling: from protective mat to new raw material

Once received, the mats are cleaned and shredded into small PVC particles. This recycled PVC is then used in the production of new protective mats and a wide range of other products, including water bottles, flower pots, and stadium seats. By using PVC in a circular way, we minimize waste and reduce the demand for new raw materials, resulting in lower CO₂ emissions.
